Rebuild & deploy compiles your latest code and swaps in the new binary (~1–2 min; the server stays up while it compiles, then restarts briefly) — use this to make code changes go live. Restart just reloads the running server with the latest settings (a few seconds) — it does not pick up code changes. Stop is followed by an automatic restart on an always-on service.

Welcome to AsCut.
Your bench is clear. Start your first job and it'll show up here — due dates, what's at risk, and what to cut next.

Import .cwpjob Backup
Pick a .cwpjob file. The server will inspect it and
list any library rows that conflict with what's already on this
install — nothing gets written until you click Confirm.
Libraries
Item Type = Door sets the order category; picking a Door Style = Shaker from the Doors library sets the geometry. You set both on a style group.

Help & Controls — how to drive the app
Profile
Layout — Desktop or the touch (Mobile) layout, this device only
Mobile turns the room studio into a full-screen 3D view with slide-in Cabinet & Properties drawers and big touch targets. Phones & tablets start in Mobile automatically; your choice here is remembered on this device.
Measurement Units — how dims display + accept input everywhere in the app
Cabinet data is stored in mm internally so math stays exact. This preference flips every dim input + label between millimeters and decimal inches. Every drawer updates instantly. A quick toggle also lives inline at the top of the door library edit drawer.
Advanced Visuals — manual graphics controls (this device only)
Device-only preview preferences — never saved to a job. Most apply live; Render quality resizes the render buffer, so its sharpness change takes effect on the next reload. Calibrated catalog colors are at Normal brightness; for color-accurate viewing use Chrome/Edge with Windows HDR off and the monitor in sRGB mode.
Shop Logo — appears on the home + shop drawings
PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP — keep it under ~256 KB (a trimmed PNG or an SVG is ideal). Uploads straight from your computer; nothing to host.
Color Theme — palette only (backgrounds, accents, text)
Password
Change your own password. Forgot it? An admin can reset it for you on the Workers & Roles page.
Subscription — Your AsCut plan + seat usage
Your subscription unlocks designer seats, shop-floor tablet seats, and feature modules. Renew before your expiration date to avoid interruption — your projects + library + jobs are preserved regardless.
Software Updates — AsCut version + update channel
Updates ship through Cabinet HQ. Each install is operator-approved; your projects, customers, jobs, and library edits are preserved across every update (a snapshot of your database is saved before any install).
Got an update file (.cwpupdate) from your builder — on a USB stick, a download, or another shop PC? Load it here. Your projects, customers, jobs, and library edits are all preserved; a database snapshot is saved before anything installs.
Advanced — publish the desktop app to other shop PCs (build machine)
latest.json + the signed -setup.exeStages a desktop-app update on this Host so other AsCut PCs on your network pick it up on next launch. You normally don't need this — installed apps update themselves over the internet.

What-If Scenarios
—For each station, the chart shows how much aggregate P(on-time) moves if you add or remove one worker. Largest swing = where overtime money buys the most schedule.
Override per-station worker counts; click Simulate to see projected P(on-time) per order under the change.
Greedy hill-climb that minimizes TOTAL tardy days across active orders. Each move = transfer one worker between stations. Bound the search with a budget below.
